In 2024 we partnered with Evergreen Trust, a local not‑for‑profit that provides home care services for older residents.
Supporting those who need it most, right at their door
Many Evergreen clients have limited mobility and can’t leave their homes. Every Friday we prepare lunch bags that are delivered to their door. Each one includes hot fresh soup and bread, plus fruit, crisps, biscuits, cakes, or sausage rolls.
The service helps those in greatest need, for example people who are socially isolated, vulnerable, bereaved or recuperating from surgery or illness. People who would most benefit from a nutritious meal and seeing a regular friendly face.
On Christmas Day we prepare a full turkey dinner for these residents, with Evergreen volunteers making sure everything arrives in time for lunch.
And thanks to the generous donations we receive, we’re proud to offer this service completely free of charge.
