Suppliers and local organisations play a vital role in helping us feed bellies, not landfill. By working with Second Helpings Stamford, you can ensure good food is shared with the community rather than wasted – all while supporting local families and reducing environmental impact.
Donate food
Donate kit
If you have surplus stock, short-dated items, end-of-line products or produce that can’t be sold but is still perfectly good to eat, we can put it to immediate use. We accept:
- Fresh, chilled, ambient or frozen food
- Fruit, vegetables, bakery items and dairy
- Tins, packets and store cupboard essentials
- Catering sized ingredients
- Seasonal or event surplus
We can collect from local suppliers or you can arrange regular drop-offs.
We welcome partnerships with businesses who want to make a positive social and environmental impact. This could include regular surplus redistribution.

- Sponsoring equipment, training or community projects
- Support volunteer training, food safety & hygiene, first aid, manual handling, etc.

Corporate volunteering days are a brilliant way for teams to get involved, build morale, and give back locally.
Opportunities include helping in the Community Cafe or the Pantry, sorting and organising food donations, or even assisting with one-off projects, such as deep cleans or maintenance days. We can accommodate small or large groups and tailor activities to suit your team.
Why not get involved by becoming a sponsor? Your organisation can support us through fundraising events, gifting or in kind donations, or helping towards costs for our volunteer T-shirts and aprons and in return we can feature your logo on our kit.

Host your gatherings
with us
Planning a meeting or group catch-up? Our Saurday Community Cafe has space for groups up to 30, and we can serve smaller groups in the main dining room.
Hold your meeting in our welcoming space and enjoy a meal made entirely from surplus food that would otherwise have gone to landfill. All we ask is a pay as you feel donation to support our work.
It’s a simple, sustainable way to bring people together while helping us reduce waste and feed the community.
