Making a special effort for Second Helpings
Plants Eggs very kindly donate fresh eggs – not surplus – to Second Helpings every fortnight. And we use every single one he can give, either sold fresh in the Pantry, or in our delicious puddings and mains we serve in the Community Café. Having eggs on the menu means it’s easy to provide a vegetarian meal option and a tasty treat for dessert – reasons many people come to dine with us on a Saturday! His ongoing support reflects his commitment to kindness, sustainability and community care.
