At Straightahead UK, supporting charities has been a core part of who we are since we began back in 2009. We are proud to support Second Helpings and the vital work they do in repurposing surplus food for the community. Their approach tackles two significant challenges at once: reducing unnecessary food waste while ensuring that good, nutritious food reaches individuals and families who need it most. It’s a simple idea, but one with a powerful and far-reaching effect.
What makes Second Helpings particularly special is not just what they do, but how they do it — with care, commitment, and a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives. That ethos strongly reflects our own values as a business and we will continue to support Second Helpings in the way we know best – through communication and connection. By connecting them with the right organisations, we aim to help increase the volume of surplus food they can rescue and redistribute.
