Cooking from scratch

Providing premises, food and support for another local charity so residents can learn basic kitchen skills.

Cooking skills for all

We partner with local mental wellbeing charity Mindspace to support them with their Cooking from Scratch programme. The six-week course invites residents to learn how to cook healthy, nutritious meals using basic, fresh, affordable ingredients.

The course is taught by the Mindspace nutritionist, with premises, kitchen and food provided by Second Helpings.
