Since then, we’ve regularly donated leftover pastries, pasties and any ingredients we can spare, ensuring good food is shared rather than wasted.
Giving back has always been part of how we operate. It’s really important to us to support organisations with a wide reach in the community. Donating to charities helps keeps everyone connected. And it is not only good for the community, but good for the business too.
After researching local charities, we chose to work with Second Helpings. It is a charity that is well established and makes a real difference. We’re keen to get even more involved if we can, whether that’s donating more food or even lending a hand in the kitchen!
